Tino Cochino

Born and raised in Lubbock, TX, Tino got into radio at the age of 13 as an intern. At age 16, he was given his first full time shift and worked his way to the #1 night show in his hometown.

Nearing his 21st birthday, Tino took his show to San Antonio where a buzz quickly began to grow. The station flipped formats a few years later and he felt the need to move out west to chase his major market dreams.

After three successful years of building his brand in Bakersfield, CA, he was given the opportunity to become a member of the highly respected Power 98.3 in Phoenix, AZ. He now hosts #TinoCochinoRadio weekday mornings from 6:00am-10:00am. Aside from creating his own TV show for the local CW affiliate, Tino most recently signed a nationwide syndication deal for his popular radio show. He has also released numerous singles that have received rotation across the south west with features from Juicy J, Jonn Hart, Baby Bash, and more!

I arrive in LA to jump on an Atlantic Aviation flight to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

I’m on my way to Kanye West’s Album Listening Party. After about a 3-hour flight, we land in Jackson Hole…right next to a flock of private planes.

Everybody is out here. Lil Yachty was on our flight. Also in attendance Def Jam Chief, Paul Rosenberg, Scooter Bruan, Kim Kardashian West, Pusha T, Chris Rock, Jonah Hill, Fabolous, Kid Cudi…

The album is simply titled “Ye”. Chris Rock gets up and throws down a killer stand up routine around a campfire opening up the album. Listening to this with all these people is surreal. The album takes a shot at Nike and celebrates Adidas…feels VERY PDX.

The album is amazing. Everything. Lyrics, message, production. Thank you Mr. West and the fam at Def Jam Records for the invitation and hospitality. I cant wait to share this experience on air. Also, I gotta let you know there are also a few more gems on my IG stories not included here, plus you get a little sneak at some of the tracks from “YE”.
