We want to keep our kids safe and if that means upgrading the security in our schools, then I’m all for it. I know the thought of having metal detectors back in the day was a crazy idea but people felt safe with them around. Now they have come up with Facial Recognition Technology that will check each face against a database of expelled students, sex offenders and other possible troublemakers. It is getting started in New York and may be coming to a school near you.
